The Greene Area Churches', Open Door Kitchen serves dinner to approximately 100 people the first and third Friday evening of each month. If school is closed due to snow the kitchen will close as well. The dinners are prepared and served at 5:30 p.m. by volunteers from the several Greene Area Churches at the First Congregational Church 28 North Chenango Street, Greene, New York. There is no charge for the dinner but if you are so inclined donations can be made to the "GREENE OPEN DOOR KITCHEN" and given through your local church or send to: Ms. Katha Root c/o First Congregational Church 28 North Chenango St. Greene, NY 13778 |
