The cornerstone of our church life is the Morning Worship each Sunday morning at 10:00A.M.. Every Sunday a friendly reception is held after worship for extra fellowship time. The fourth Sunday in June is the Church Picnic, featuring an outdoor service, games, and fellowship.
All women of the community are invited to participate in the monthly activities of
this organization. These activities include: Dinner programs, Material Aids for mission,
Rummage Sales, and hosting special receptions for funerals.
This committee has taken on, in addition to regular church mission projects, two down-to- earth projects: Adopting needy families in the community to receive Christmas gifts anonymously from the church, and adopting a child in Honduras and paying for his studies
This is made up of volunteer drivers, who give rides to people who have no means of obtaining needed services such as trips to the doctor and obtaining prescription drugs, food and, other goods.
Every Friday, excluding school snow days, some holiday weekends and some Fridays in the summer, the Greene Area Churches "Open Door Soup Kitchen" serves approximately 100 meals. The meals are served at a single seating at 5:30 in the evening. All are welcome, it is a place to receive nourishment and socialize with friends in the community.
